ABB’s production facility in Sevlievo specialises in high-voltage products for power transmission and covers 14,500 sq.m with over 400 employees. It manufactures components for gas-insulated switchgear, generator circuit breakers, capacitor equipment and energy storage systems.
The plant was founded in 1962 and acquired by ABB in 1996; in September 2019 the fully modernised facility was unveiled, with renovated production capacity and a new administrative building planned around the LEAN production concept.
One team takes the site through every stage – from preparation and procurement to installation, testing and handover with full documentation.
